Other Reflect Features

- Backlinking: Reflect uses a backlinking model over a traditional folder system, allowing notes to be connected in a way that mimics the brain’s associative thinking.
- Task Management: Reflect has introduced a task management feature, which includes simple checkboxes and tasks that appear in a dedicated tasks tab. Tasks are organized by their due dates, integrated into the daily notes, and can be filtered for easy management.
- Rich Content Integration: Users can embed YouTube videos, attach files, and soon will be able to search within attached PDFs thanks to upcoming OCR support.
- Suggested Backlinks and Similar Notes: Reflect now suggests backlinks and shows similar notes based on the context, further enhancing the note-taking experience.
Future Developments
Sam hinted at exciting future updates, including the addition of task management to the mobile app and enhanced file attachment features. Reflect is also exploring locally hosted AI to provide even greater privacy and functionality.
